Wood colour is from reddish brown to intense red with the typical resin pockets in the form of dark inclusions. The wood is easy to process, suitable for wood carvings and is easy to polish. Can be used for veneer, high-class furniture, musical instruments, as well as it can be used in yacht construction.
Description:
- Class A – boards without cracks and clean on both sides without twigs.
- Class B – one side clean without twigs, live twigs 15-40 mm are allowed on the other side.
- Class C – twigs on both sides are allowed, curvature up to +/-100mm.
*The width of uncut (with bark) timber is measured on the narrow side of the board from the bark to the bark in the middle of the board.
